Movement Rights, founded in 2014, is an Indigenous and women-led organization focusing on climate justice, Indigenous Rights, and the Rights of Nature. Movement Rights works in partnership with Tribal Nations, Indigenous communities and organizations across Turtle Island to advance laws and Indigenous frameworks that protect Native lands from extractive industries and colonized policies. Their work supports Indigenous communities in asserting their inherent sovereignty to defend land, water, and future generations.
