Salmon Returns builds the financial and governance infrastructure that allows Indigenous and community-led stewardship of land and water to become the foundation of durable, locally rooted economies. Their work supports place-based enterprises within specific watersheds, helping communities develop livelihoods tied to long-term ecological health. They operate at a bioregional scale across the Pacific salmon range, spanning communities from Northern California through British Columbia to Alaska, and to the interior mountain ranges.
